Myddleton Arms: Pub in Islington, London

The Myddleton Arms is a food venue in N1 that runs its evenings with a clear musical streak. Expect jazz sessions, vinyl listening nights, and ceilidh-style folk music, with a pub quiz for anyone who likes to test their memory over a meal. The crowd tends to be regulars and small groups who come for the food and stay for the music. Jazz nights suit a slower, conversational evening. Quiz nights bring teams who take the answers seriously. Folk nights draw people who want to dance without any fuss about it. What makes it worth your time is the range. On different nights it can feel like a jazz room, a record collection, or a village hall with a good kitchen.
