October Gallery

October Gallery is the kind of place to visit when you want time with one artist's work rather than a crowded group show. The programme leans towards solo presentations, with painting, sculpture and installation given room to breathe. Much of the work comes from artists whose practice moves between traditions and countries, so the ideas tend to feel both rooted and wide-ranging. The gallery is in WC1N. Plan a proper visit rather than a quick look. The best rooms reward slow looking, and you often leave with one piece still on your mind.
