Pilar Corrias

Westminster

Pilar Corrias is a contemporary art gallery in W1S. Its programme leans towards artists who work with situations as much as objects, so a visit is less about checking off works and more about noticing how a room makes you behave. Expect work that asks you to step in, slow down, or watch the people around you. It suits anyone already curious about contemporary art, and anyone who is happy not to know exactly what they are looking at yet. Go without a plan. The work you were unsure about often stays with you longest. Bring time rather than a checklist. One room, looked at properly, is usually enough.
