Somerset House - Lancaster Rooms, New Wing

Westminster

1 upcoming event

The Lancaster Rooms in the New Wing suit art that asks for time. The programming leans toward sessions where you sit with the work and the artist, rather than moving quickly through a show. You'll notice a mix of formats. Some evenings are for close listening and looking. Others are looser, with more room to settle in and talk. The crowd tends to be curious and unhurried, the kind of people who stay for the question after the talk. Read the format before you book, because the format decides the feel of the night. If you want to go deep on one thing rather than hop between five, this is a good room to know.
