The Alwyne Castle: Pub in Islington, London
The Alwyne Castle is a food venue in N1 that runs its events the way a good local does: regular, unfussy, and built around the people who already come in. Expect two kinds of night. Quiz nights, where teams compete for prizes and the room gets loud in a friendly way. And DJ sessions on Fridays, where the music takes over and the evening picks up. That mix is the point. You can come with a team for the quiz or stay on for the music. Nothing feels staged. It is a place for people who want a night out that is easy, sociable and a little bit rough around the edges.
