The Horse Hospital

The Horse Hospital is a place for live music first. The programme centres on bands and solo artists, so the bill is the best guide to the night. Pick by who is playing, not by how loudly the poster is shouting. The crowd tends to be people who came to listen. Curious, a bit patient, happy to arrive early for a support act. Food is part of the offer too, so a night can start with a plate and end with a set. If you like hearing new artists up close, this is the kind of room to try. It sits in WC1N, and the listings below show what is coming up. Trust the artist more than the hype.
