The Mill is an art venue in E17 where making things matters as much as looking at them. The programme leans toward hands-on sessions. You will find knitting, drawing, and the kind of unhurried afternoon a community living room is built for. Live music turns up too, in the same relaxed spirit. It suits people who like a place with a regular crowd and a bit of mess on the table. Bring a pencil if you have one. Expect to talk to strangers. Families are part of the mix, but the children's space can close, so check before you plan around it.
