The Prince Of Greenwich is an art venue in SE10, and its programme has a clear point of view. It leans toward things you sit with: slow, specific, a little removed from the noise. Afternoon jazz is one of its threads. It suits a long, unhurried listen, the kind of session you plan your afternoon around. Film is the other. Italian cinema comes up often, and the screening is only half of it. The conversation afterwards is the rest. The crowd tends to be listeners and watchers. People who come back for the same kind of evening, and who notice when the programme shifts. If you want rooms where the choice of event says something about the place, start here. The list below shows what is on.
