The Somerville

The Somerville is a food venue in SE13, and it leans into the idea behind a night. Expect the theme to matter. Costumes, a bit of showmanship and a crowd that commits are part of the appeal, not an afterthought. Food comes first, and the programming follows the same logic. A menu built around the night, a room that feels more like a party than a dinner, and people who dress up because it's expected. Go with a group. Go with a plan to be a little silly. It suits people who would rather eat somewhere with a point of view than somewhere that just fills seats. It is less suited to anyone wanting a quiet table and a long, serious meal.
