The Wandle: Pub in Wandsworth, London

1 upcoming event

The Wandle is an art venue in SW18, and it keeps one foot in the gallery and the other in the cinema. Film nights run alongside the art programme, so one visit can start with a wall and end with a screen. That mix draws people who like to take their time. You are not rushing from one thing to the next. You look, you watch, and you talk a bit afterwards. Go in with a loose plan. Pick the event that sounds slightly odd or unfamiliar over the safe option. Art programmes like this tend to reward that kind of curiosity more than a checklist does. Expect a crowd of art lovers, film fans, and anyone who came for one thing and stayed for the room.
