The Woodman

The Woodman is an SW19 venue built around regular nights rather than one-off spectacles. Live music is the backbone. Saturdays belong to bands, and the room suits people who came to hear something properly rather than be seen. Soul nights draw a crowd that knows its records and dances without much fuss. Quiz and games nights bring in regulars who enjoy a bit of friendly competition with their mates and a drink in hand. What makes it worth your time is the rhythm. You can learn the pattern, pick your night, and go back again. The programming leans warm and social, the kind of place where the same faces turn up and the evening feels earned rather than planned.
