Troxy suits people who like a night with a clear identity. The programming leans towards electronic music, especially trance, and the club nights tend to bring a loyal crowd back again and again. Themed raves turn up too, so the mood can shift a lot from one booking to the next. Live acts share the bill. That mix means the room can hold longtime dancers and people who came for one band and stayed for the DJ. The sensible approach is to pick by the night, not the venue. Read the event before you book. A trance session and a band night will feel like different evenings. Expect a full crowd. The strongest nights tend to be the ones built around a scene that knows its own music.
