Underbelly Boulevard Soho is an art venue that likes a bit of mischief. Its programming leans toward nights where the audience becomes part of the show: pop lounges, drag, burlesque, live music and comedy. The crowd tends to come for the act and stay for the room. Expect people who enjoy glamour, a loud laugh and a sing-along. Choosing a night comes down to mood. For a playful, sociable evening, look for a pop lounge or a drag night. For something sharper and more theatrical, try burlesque. Comedy suits a group that doesn't mind talking through the quiet bits. The venue sits in Soho, so it works well as a stop on a night out that is already in motion.
