Murphy Campbell

Murphy Campbell sings ballads and plays clawhammer banjo on a low tuned gut string banjo, with roots in Western North Carolina. Her album Revenant preserves ballads from her own family, recorded in a historic Mitchell County church. At £15, it's a good way in if you want old time music played with real feeling.
