ROBERTO PLA BIG BAND LATINO

Colombian master-percussionist Roberto Pla, the Godfather of Latin Music in the UK, leads this band through salsa, Latin jazz and tropical rhythms. He has recorded with Kate Bush, Joe Strummer and Boney M, so expect a mix of pop history and proper Latin playing. It sold out last year, and at £12.50 it is a low-stakes way to hear the real thing on a Sunday afternoon.
