About
Soft Machine started in Canterbury in the late 1960s and are widely seen as the first progressive rock band. The set moves between jazz fusion, psychedelia and free improvised jazz-rock, so expect the sound to change shape mid-song. At £20, it suits anyone who likes music that doesn't sit still.
