Pimlico Road Farmers' Market is a long-running Saturday market set on leafy Orange Square, beside the statue of a young Mozart, where Pimlico Road meets Ebury Street in Belgravia. Established in June 2002 and run by London Farmers' Markets, it brings around 25 to 30 producer stalls into one of the prettiest market spots in central London. Trading every week rain or shine, it is a relaxed, well-stocked spot where you can shop directly from the farmers, growers and bakers who make what they sell, then sit and soak up the atmosphere of the square.

Opening times

The market runs every Saturday from 9am to 2pm, all year round, rain or shine. Arrive early for the widest choice of bread, fish and seasonal produce before popular stalls sell out. Late morning is the liveliest time, with plenty of space in the square to pause between stalls.

What's on the stalls

Expect fruit, vegetables and salads alongside cheese, dairy, free range eggs, beef, lamb, pork, poultry and seasonal game. Day boat fish and shellfish, artisan breads, cakes, honey and preserves round out the food, with cut flowers, garden plants and drinks such as wine, gin and cider too. Seasonal specials run from asparagus and cherries through to autumn produce, all sold by the people who grow or make it.

Around the market / getting there
