Blondies

Hackney

Blondies is an art venue in E5, and it programmes like one. Expect live sets, club nights and work that sits somewhere between a gallery and a gig. The music and the visual side both get taken seriously here. The crowd tends to be people who come for a specific booking and stay to see what else is on. You will find artists, promoters and regulars who recognise each other, and a lot of people who like to see something made in front of them rather than just watch it arrive. If you want a night out with a bit of uncertainty in it, this is the kind of venue to try. Pick the event that sounds least like what you usually go for, then let the rest of the night be a surprise.
