Bush Theatre programs theatre in Shepherd's Bush with intentional focus on Global Majority voices and artists. The space develops contemporary work by and about creators whose perspectives and stories might otherwise be overlooked in theatre. You come here for theatre that centers different communities and narratives. Productions vary in form and style, but share consistent attention to representation and who leads the work. The audience here actively seeks theatre that reflects experiences and perspectives that are often missing from mainstream theatre spaces. This focus shapes what the venue develops and stages across its programming.
