Club Cheek: Pub in Brixton, London

Club Cheek in SW9 is a food venue that also runs a steady programme of club nights, so you can eat first and stay for the music. The bookings lean towards the alternative and the left of centre. Expect club series, fests and themed specials, several of which tend to return over time. Some nights are built around a single crew or label, so the room often fills with people who know the records. Don't judge the place by one date. A regular night tells you more about the sound and the crowd than any single line-up will.
