Egg is a club in N7 for people who come to dance. The programming leans toward house and techno, with tech house and deep, tribal sounds running through much of it. You will also find electro and hip hop, and some nights bring in drum and bass, bassline and UK garage. The crowd comes for the music. Nights are run by promoters with a clear sound, so the genre and the promoter will tell you more about the room than the venue name will. Check both before you buy a ticket. Egg also runs special one-off nights alongside its regular club nights. Specials tend to be busier and more mixed. If you want a focused night with a settled crowd, a regular night is usually the safer pick.
