The Foundling Museum puts on talks and events that explore specific histories and social questions in depth. You go to learn something concrete. The programming includes expert talks, guided tours, and drop-in sessions, all aimed at people who actually want to understand rather than just wander. There's family programming too, but it respects intelligence. Topics tend toward social history: abolition, care systems, foundling stories. It suits people curious about something particular rather than looking for a general cultural outing.
