Gazelli Art House

Mayfair

Gazelli Art House is an art venue in W1S, and it has the feel of a place that takes art seriously without making a show of it. The programme leans toward focused shows and project-space presentations, where one artist or one idea gets proper room to breathe. That suits people who like to look slowly. Rather than a crowd of pieces competing for attention, you tend to get a clear sense of how an artist thinks, often across a sustained body of work. It draws people who go to galleries on purpose. Collectors, students and curious regulars tend to be there, and the conversation usually stays close to the work. If you like art that asks you to spend time with it, this is a good place to start.
