Groovetank Live: Pub in Tower Hamlets, London

Groovetank Live is a food venue in E2, and that shapes what kind of night it is. You might come to eat. The events sit alongside the food, not apart from it. The programming leans towards showcases. These are nights built around performers getting a room and an audience getting a close look at what they do. It suits people who like to watch something new while they eat, and who don't need every detail of the night planned in advance. If you are picking an event here, look at what it is built around. A showcase suits a curious crowd and a loose plan. Go with a friend who likes to talk between acts, or on your own if you like paying attention to the room.
