Growing Communities Farmers' Market
Growing Communities Farmers' Market is the UK's only all-organic farmers' market, held every Saturday in Stoke Newington, Hackney. Run by the Growing Communities social enterprise, it brings together producers who grow and make almost everything within around 60 miles of London, so the stalls follow the seasons and back small, sustainable farms. It is a friendly, local fixture where you can fill a bag with organic vegetables, meat, fish, dairy and baked goods while chatting directly to the people who produced them.
Opening times
The market runs every Saturday from 10am to 2.30pm, year round. Mornings are the best time to come for the widest choice, as popular produce and bakery items can sell out before closing. Arriving earlier also means a calmer browse before the lunchtime crowds build.
