Hot Toddys

Camden Town

Hot Toddys sits in NW1, and it doesn't stick to one lane. Art is the core, but the programme reaches beyond the gallery wall. Comedy nights turn up here too, so the room is happy to mix moods in one evening. That mix is the point. You can come for something new to look at and stay for a laugh. The crowd tends to be curious rather than dressed up for the night. People who like to talk about what they saw, and who don't mind some noise. If you like a venue that hasn't settled on one identity, this is one to know. Check what the programme is doing before you decide what kind of night you want. Some evenings suit a slow look. Others suit a loud room and a bad joke.
