Jam in a Jar is an art venue in N8, and it doesn't stick to one lane. Folk nights sit alongside club nights. An exhibition might share a room with a late set, and the line between looking and dancing gets blurry on purpose. That mix is the point. You come for one thing and leave having seen something you didn't plan for. The crowd tends to be people who like to be in the room, not just watch from the back. Musicians, artists and regulars who know the programme well. The feel is close and sociable rather than a big-venue crush. If you're new, pick the night that matches your mood. Quiet and acoustic, or loud and late. The space rewards anyone who turns up curious.
