Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond programmes screen-based and experimental work. The kind of thing you'll find here leans thoughtful and intimate rather than crowd-pleasing. If you're into film that goes beyond the mainstream, or experimental approaches to storytelling on screen, this is worth keeping an eye on. The venue operates at a small scale. The programming is deliberately selective. It's the kind of place that trusts its audience to think and feel without spelling everything out. What gets programmed here demands something from you, not passive viewing. Not everything will land for you. But when it does, it lands properly.
