Rough Trade Denmark Street, WC2H, is a place for talk. Most of what it hosts is people sitting down to explain how a book or a record came together. Writers and producers come in, the conversation runs long enough to get interesting, and there is often a signing afterwards if you want the book. It suits people who care about the story behind the work more than the polish. Go if you like hearing how someone made a thing, what they got wrong, and what they would do differently. You will probably leave with a book you already wanted and a few names to look up later.
