Sadler's Wells East programs contemporary dance and experimental performance work. The venue draws artists working with movement and physicality as their primary language. The programming is unconventional. You'll see work that's collaborative, investigative, sometimes testing the boundaries of what dance can be. The shows here aren't about perfecting familiar forms. They're about practitioners exploring their practice and ideas. It's the kind of place for people genuinely curious about contemporary art that works through bodies and movement. You come to discover what artists are thinking and making.
