The Green Man: Pub in Lewisham, London

1 upcoming event

The Green Man is a pub in SE13 with film and art programming that focuses on participation. The Iconic Steps Film Academy is the kind of thing you'll see: workshops and active creative practice rather than passive viewings. There's no gatekeeping or separation between the pub crowd and people seriously doing the work. Regulars mix with people coming specifically for the programming. If you're after a space that treats cinema and art as something you can do, not just consume, this is it. The pub format keeps things grounded and unpretentious. You walk in and work out what's happening on your own terms.
