The Greenwich Vintage Market sits alongside the historic covered Greenwich Market in the heart of Royal Greenwich, bringing together around 40 stalls of antiques, collectables, vintage clothing, retro homeware and handmade craft. It has grown over the years into one of south east London's most browsable weekend markets, with an eclectic, ever changing mix of traders and a relaxed, treasure hunting atmosphere. Entry is free and you only pay for what you buy.

Opening times

The Greenwich Vintage Market runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday, typically from late morning into the afternoon, alongside the wider Greenwich Market which trades daily from around 10am to 5.30pm. Weekends are busiest and have the fullest line up of stalls. Arrive earlier in the day for the best pick before the crowds build.

What's on the stalls

Expect a diverse spread of antiques and collectables, vintage and retro clothing, records, jewellery, prints and a growing range of craft and handmade products. Traders rotate week to week, so no two visits look quite the same. There is also a refreshment cabin serving hot and cold food and drink, with a vintage ice cream cart in summer.

Around the market / getting there

The market is right in the centre of Greenwich town, a short walk from Greenwich DLR and Greenwich rail station and close to Cutty Sark DLR. It pairs naturally with the covered Greenwich Market food stalls, the Cutty Sark, the river walk and Greenwich Park. Plenty of buses stop nearby and Greenwich Pier is moments away for a riverboat back to central London.
