The Place is a dance venue in WC1H 9PY, and it is built around training. Ballet and contemporary sit at the centre of the programme, with classes that run from first steps to more advanced work. The range of ages and levels is the point. You will find sessions for children and teenagers, adults coming back to dance, and older students who want to keep moving. The mix gives the rooms a working feel. People are there to practise. If you like learning by doing, start with an introductory class and see how it feels. Intermediate sessions suit people who already know their way around a studio. Read the level before you book. Check what each session asks of you.
