Art in SE3 that starts with things. The Prince Philip Maritime Collections Centre is an art venue built around objects, and that shapes what you find here. Expect work that begins with a material or a collection and asks what it can become. The programming points to a practice where objects lead and art follows. You see the process as much as the result. Shows tend to ask you to look closer at ordinary things, the way a collection reads when someone reinterprets it. It suits people who like to think while they look. Come with curiosity rather than a checklist. The best visits are slow ones, where attention pays off more than speed.
