The Redfern Gallery

Westminster

1 upcoming event

The Redfern Gallery is an art gallery in SW1Y, and it works the way a good gallery should. You go to look, slowly, and to think about what you're seeing. The programme leans towards modern art and the people around it. Shows tend to centre on individual artists and the figures who shaped their work. You get the stories behind the paintings as much as the paintings themselves. Expect visitors who know their art and enjoy talking about it. Collectors, students and curious regulars move through at an unhurried pace. Nobody rushes you out of the room. If you like art that gives you context, this is a place to come back to. Each visit tends to show you something you missed last time.
