THE TAGLI: Pub in Marylebone, London

The Tagli is an art venue in W1W, and its programme tends to run on focus. Expect shows built around one artist and one clear idea, rather than a crowd of work trying to say everything at once. That suits anyone who likes to slow down in a room. Give it time. The work often rewards a second look, or a longer stand in front of a single piece. If you are new to contemporary art, this is a good place to learn how a show is put together. Start with the title, then notice how the artist has used the space. Think about what they want you to feel before you think about what it means.
