Vespers Club: Pub in Peckham, London

Vespers Club is a food venue in SE15, and its programming tells you what kind of night it is. Expect club nights with an alternative edge: dark electronic sets, experimental live acts, and bills that sit somewhere between a party and a performance. The crowd tends to be people who came for the music first and the room second. Nights here often run as themed series or named nights with their own following, so familiar faces start to show up. Lineups range from queer-led bills to collectives that treat a night out as a little bit of art. If you like club nights with a point of view, this is one to get to know. Go in curious. Stay for the second set.
