Village Underground: Pub in Shoreditch, London

Village Underground is an art venue programming electronic and hip-hop music. You'll find DJ sets spanning house, techno and garage, alongside hip-hop and grime nights. It's the kind of place where you come for the specific artist or set rather than just drifting through. The crowd knows what they're here for and comes prepared. Programming stays eclectic but purposeful, reflecting what's genuinely interesting in electronic and rap music rather than just whatever fills a room easily. The vibe is deliberately low on pretense and high on knowing what you want. The space itself is unadorned. You show up for the music.
