Woolwich Works is an art venue in SE18, and it doesn't stick to one kind of room. One night it's a frank talk about something people usually keep quiet about. The next it's a circus act, a family show that adults enjoy too, or a comedy night where the crowd came for a laugh and stayed for the whole set. That range is the point. The programme leans towards things that get people talking on the way home: panels, live comedy, and playful, slightly odd work that doesn't need a dress code or a hushed room. If you like your evenings loose and a little unpredictable, you'll feel at home here. If you want polished gallery silence, look elsewhere.
