Yamamoto Keiko Rochaix

Tower Hamlets

Yamamoto Keiko Rochaix is an art venue in E1, and it feels like one. The programming leans towards artists who care more about ideas than polish. Titles tend to point at the elemental and the personal, the things people carry around and rarely say out loud. That suits a particular kind of visitor. If you like to leave a room still thinking about what you saw, you will find something here. If you want a loud crowd and a night out, look elsewhere. The best way in is to come without a plan. Check the list below, pick the show that sounds least like what you expected, and give it longer than you meant to. Art spaces like this tend to reward the visitor who stays put and looks properly.
