Young V&A is a design space in Hackney where young people learn through making and experimenting. The programming is hands-on and collaborative throughout. Workshops and projects that have you working with materials, solving problems, testing ideas and approaches. Design here isn't about aesthetics or finished objects. It's about process, figuring out why something works the way it does, understanding the thinking behind how things are designed and made. You're expected to get involved and contribute, not just observe. School groups come regularly, alongside young people already invested in design as practice. The venue trusts you have something to bring. In E2.
