The pool setup

This is a proper snooker hall first, with professional full-size snooker tables that have been here in some form for over 40 years (it used to be Gants Hill Billiards Club). For pool, you get a choice that not many London halls offer: English pool tables with the smaller balls, and American pool tables with the bigger cue ball and pockets. So whether you grew up on pub pool or prefer the US bar game, there is a table for you. The WPBSA lists it as a five-snooker-table club.

You pay by the hour and rates are clear: English pool is £8.50, American pool £9.50 and snooker £10. There is a fully licensed bar and a kitchen doing traditional Indian dishes, so you can settle in for a session. Opening is Monday to Thursday from 2pm till late, and Friday to Sunday from noon till late.
