Oche The Strand: Darts in The Strand

Oche on the Strand is a tech-darts venue where you book a private booth, throw a few legs, and eat and drink while you play. It suits groups out for a night, after-work crews, and people who fancy darts without the full pub-league seriousness. Beginners are fine here because the boards score for you, so nobody has to do the mental arithmetic.

The setup is 15 booths, called oches, each with its own board and automatic scoring on a screen. The darts are the venue's own tech darts, so you cannot bring your own set. Each booth takes up to 12 guests, which makes it a proper group spot rather than somewhere for a quiet solo throw. Food is international street-food style sharing plates, with cocktails, beer and wine from the bar.

It sits at 105 Strand, a short walk from Charing Cross and Covent Garden stations. This is a booking-first place rather than a walk-in, and sessions are prepaid, so sort your slot in advance. It opens Tuesday to Saturday and is closed Sunday and Monday, with later hours on Saturday. Friday and Saturday evenings are the busiest, so book ahead if you want a weekend booth.
