The Lock Inn: Darts in Hackney Wick, E15
The Lock Inn is an independent neighbourhood pub on the canal in Hackney Wick, sat right on the River Lee Navigation near the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. It suits anyone after a low-key local rather than a dedicated darts hall: come for a few games with mates, then stay for the pizzas, burgers and a canalside garden when the weather plays along.
For darts, this is a proper pub setup. There's a board you can play on plus a pool table, so it works for a casual session rather than serious league practice. You won't find bookable oches or automatic scoring here, so bring your own arrows if you want your own flights and just play off the wall board.
It's a sociable spot the rest of the week too. The big screen shows Sky and TNT Sports football, there's a quiz on Tuesdays, and live traditional Irish music kicks off on Friday evenings around 7:30pm. The pub opens late afternoon on weekdays and from midday at weekends. Muddy boots, kids and dogs are all welcome. Hackney Wick station is the nearest stop, a short walk away.
