About
Open mic nights put the stage in reach of anyone with an instrument and nerve. The Barrel & Horn does this every Thursday, building expectation around a set night.
You're choosing Bromley deliberately, it's not a venue you stumble into. You can sign up if you want to perform, or arrive without a slot to listen. The 18+ crowd is definite.
What works is the immediacy: musicians playing in front of real people, not refining something already polished. You'll hear things that surprise you and things that don't quite land. Both are part of the draw.
