KIDS BOWL FREE ON SUNDAYS

If you've got kids and Sunday's your family day, this is the kind of thing that actually works. Thirty minutes of free bowling per child, you're paying four quid per lane, book ahead to lock it in.

There's a slide to keep them busy before or after, an ice cream truck, and the option to book a table for food and drinks so you're not running around looking for lunch. It's all in one place, which is really what Sunday logistics are about.

Waterloo's easy to reach, so it's the sort of afternoon that fits neatly into your weekend without taking it over.
