Friday Comedy Show - Comedy Freaks

Friday nights in Camden have a reliable option now. Comedy Freaks books a mix of established comedians and emerging talents from the London circuit, which keeps the bill genuinely fresh each week. A resident DJ works the gaps between sets to hold the energy, so the whole night has proper pacing to it, you're never sitting in silence.

This is the kind of room that works for date night without feeling like you're performing date night. Doors at seven, show ends by half nine, so it fits into an evening without consuming it. There's a food partnership next door and drink deals that make the whole thing reasonable.

These smaller rooms are where comedy actually lives in London now. Worth finding out if you haven't been.
