Karaoke Night

The Elephant Inn's monthly karaoke night runs on the last Thursday from 8pm, hosted by Leon. He keeps things moving without making it feel staged, and the song selection bounces between classics and newer hits so you'll recognize most of what's being belted out. The whole setup works because no one's performing for points; they're just loosening up a bit over decent drinks.

It's a regular enough slot that it's become a proper thing without feeling like the venue's making you sign up. Finchley isn't a natural karaoke destination, which means the crowd tends to be genuinely into it rather than just passing through. You can sing, hang back and watch, or do both. Either way, you'll understand why people keep returning to the same room for the same night each month.
