About
Below Stone Nest's open jam draws from South London's jazz and soul circuit. A house band opens the night with a featured artist, then the floor opens to any musician wanting to sit in and play.
Late night is the format. What makes it worth going is improvisation that only works when everyone's actually listening to each other, not just playing at them. Jazz, soul, R&B. The collective running it knows how to hold space for all three styles.
Play or watch. Both are completely valid. The energy shifts each time someone new steps up with an instrument.
