Hoppy Hour

Friday evenings at Camden Town Brewery run cheap. Five-pound pints on the core beers, five to eight, in the taproom. That's a price that makes sense for a proper drink in a place that knows what it's doing with beer.

No fuss here. You get regulars and visitors mixing in an easy-going space, the kind of Friday ritual that actually justifies the trip. It's the small-scale tradition rather than the crowded promotional night.

If you're around Camden and want to start the weekend with something good at a decent price, this is when to land. Simple, proper, no pretence.
